The Weekend and the Weather

According to this morning's forecast, we'll get some needed rain starting tomorrow. If Hurricane Joaquin even makes it to New Jersey, the forecast says that it won't be until very late Sunday, or even Monday. So unless there are some dramatic changes, all of our upcoming events are still going on as scheduled.

Breast Cancer Awareness Month

October is the pinkest month, as we all participate in Breast Cancer Awareness. Both stores will have events tied to the cause, especially Ladies Night Out. And as we have in previous years, both stores are raising money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation by selling pink ribbons for $1 each. We hope you'll help support this important cause when you visit Joe Canal's in Lawrenceville and Woodbridge.

Events in Lawrenceville

The first part of the month is all about wine tastings. This weekend and next, we'll have our regular wine tastings from 4-6pm on Friday, and 2-4pm on Saturday.

Ladies Night Out in Lawrenceville will be after hours on Sunday, October 18. We'll publish the details shortly.

An all-new event on our October agenda is Joe Canal's Night at Dad's Hat Rye Whiskey. Dad's Hat is located in nearby Bristol, PA, and we've arranged for a fun night for every attendee.                        Events in Woodbridge

We start the weekend with our regular wine tasting on Friday, 4-6pm. The rest of the weekend features a two-day celebration of Oktoberfest. On Saturday, we'll have special Growler keg tappings and tastings throughout the day.

On Sunday, we'll have an after-hours Oktoberfest event, starting at 7:30pm. Admission is only $15, and includes sampling and a German-style drinking glass. Please click here for additional information.

Just yesterday, we added a Flying Fish beer dinner to our calendar. This in-store event will be on Friday, October 16, and will feature 5 courses expertly paired with 5 Flying Fish brews, plus one as a Welcome beer.
