Their mission statement tells you a lot about their view of whisky production: "We are an independent Irish whiskey company dedicated to bringing choice and breadth back to the Irish whiskey category through small batch releases of interesting and flavoursome bottlings. Our goal is to revive the independent spirit of Dublin."
Teeling whiskeys stay true to the family tradition of quality over quantity and their belief that it’s what is in the bottle that really counts. While being respectful to the past and their own provenance they are confident enough to forge a new future for Dublin and Irish whiskey through innovation and daring to do things differently.
From grain to bottle many hands are involved in this small batch production process to ensure that each bottle of Teeling is crafted to the highest standard possible. Each bottle carries the signature of Jack Teeling, along with details of the casks used and when bottled reinforcing the hand crafted nature of Teeling Whiskey.
Teeling's Flagship Irish whiskey is their attempt to create the most interesting Blended Irish whiskey. This small batch bottling consists of hand selected casks which are given further maturation in ex-rum barrels imparting extra character and smooth flavor unique to Irish whiskey. Bottling at 46% with no chill filtration completes an Irish whiskey of true character.
