Weather or Not Grab Bag

We'll give you plenty of reasons to visit our stores despite the extreme cold weather this weekend. That's why we always start the Friday blog post with events. One important note first: when we have to adjust store hours due to the weather or road conditions, we announce the changes on Twitter.

You should follow us on Twitter anyway. It's the first place we make announcements of any kind, especially on our limited sales, and we post a Twitter-exclusive coupon every Thursday. We do follow back.

Events in Lawrenceville

It's a full weekend of events in our Lawrenceville store. Tonight, we have The Macallan bottle engraving, 4-7pm. Click here for details. On Saturday, we have a Valentine's-oriented wine tasting, from 2-4pm. Click here for the menu. And on Sunday, we have a very special Mid-Winter tapping, featuring Growlers from the Alpine Beer Co. and Green Flash brewing. We tap at noon, but there might be queue in advance. Click here for the details.

Events in Woodbridge

We have a wine tasting weekend in Woodbridge, with our standard hours. That means 4-6pm tonight, and 1-3pm tomorrow.

This coming Thursday, 2/19, we're having an in-store tasting of beer from the Neshaminy Creek Brewing Co, from 5-7pm.

On Friday, February 27, we're hosting a Jack Daniel's Portfolio Tasting. This is a "can't miss it" event for any whiskey lover. Space is limited. Click here for more information and to see about getting a ticket for this first-time event.

Details are being finalized at this time, but we will have a special Dogfish Head tapping event on Thursday, March 5, from 5-7pm. We'll tap a vintage and a current 120 Minute IPA, and there is more to come. Keep checking our Events page and our Twitter feed.

New Products

Absolut Pride, 1 liter bottles. Limited availability, at $26.99 (same price as the standard Absolut 1 liter bottle).

Paul Hobbs Chardonnay Ross Station Estate 2012. This earned an impressive 96 points from Wine Advocate. Their review:
"The 2012 Chardonnay Ross Station Estate (their first vintage of this cuvée) comes from the Mt. Eden clone planted in a cool area of the Green Valley section of Russian River, next to the Reuling Vineyard that Mark Aubert made famous. It offers up notes of lemon blossom, white peach, pineapple, honey and subtle oak. With great acidity, a full-bodied mouthfeel, and stunning length (it has a 40+-second finish), this profound Chardonnay should drink well for 7-10 years."

We're getting just one case per store. $68.99 in the Bottle Club®.
