Namaste!

We're welcoming the first Namaste of the year.

Namaste is a witbier bursting with good karma. It's made with dried organic orange slices, fresh-cut lemongrass and a bit of coriander, so this Belgian-style white beer is a great thirst quencher.

Originally, Namaste was brewed at the Dogfish Head pub in Rehoboth Beach in conjunction with their Italian friend Leo from Birra del Borgo. It was a tribute to friends at 3 Fonteinen brewery in Belgium, who had devastating production loss (1/3 of their annual production) in 2009.

Food Pairing Recommendations: Roasted turkey, Caesar salad, pasta with cream sauce, goat cheese. Because good beer goes very well with good food.

Comparable wine: Gewurztraminer

ABV 4.8
BU 20
Namaste scored an overall 94 points on RateBeer. It's recommended that Namaste be served in a tumbler.
