A Noble Wine For Gentle Folk

Palazzo Cantucci
The Contucci family has likely been living in the center of Montepulciano since the year 1000. The Contucci's were one of the "founding fathers" of Vino Nobile, as is documented in 1773; having a major role in making it world famous: "a noble wine destined for the table of gentle folk". Today, Cantucci Vino Nobile may be matured for a long time with excellent results.

Contucci Vino Nobile di Montepulciano 2009 rated 94 points from Wine Enthusiast, and was an Editor's Choice. Their review: " This is a classically crafted wine made by one of Montepulciano’s most historic estates. It has an alluring bouquet of violet, rose petal, cassis and nutmeg. The palate delivers an intense wild-cherry flavor layered with white pepper and cinnamon, all impeccably balanced by firm tannins and vibrant acidity."

Made from 80% Prugnolo Gentile, 10% Canaiolo Nero, 10% Colorino, and aged in oak casks for 2 years.

Excellent with roasted meat and with game.

Only $22.96 in the Bottle Club®.
