Eagerly Awaited

Today, we're taking a look at some of our more interesting new products. Our regular readers know that we accept delivery of new items nearly every day, and we do try to preview what we think are the most noteworthy offerings. On Tuesday, we exclusively cover new craft beer deliveries, so you never know what you might see on other days.

Belvedere Peach Nectar Vodka is a mouthwatering blend of juicy peaches and succulent apricots. These two fruits are combined with Belvedere Vodka using our unique maceration process. The result is a flavor bursting with ripe and aromatic orchard fruit to refresh your cocktails. Add a stick of cinnamon or a fresh slice of peach.

Nose: Bright, aromatic and refreshing notes of peach flesh, freshly cut citrus with a hint of toasted almond.

Palate: Juicy and rich, with notes of vanilla, ripe peach flesh and baked apricot. Full bodied and luscious, the palate moves between succulent peach, sweet and aromatic apricot with a hint of marzipan and freshly baked almond pastry.

Finish: Sustained notes of ripe peaches with hints of almond and apricot.

2015 J. Lohr Estates Flume Crossing Sauvignon Blanc. The 2015 Flume Crossing Sauvignon Blanc is pale straw yellow in color and offers bright aromas of tangerine, passion fruit, mango, daffodil and green pepper. These complex aromatics are found on the palate as well, with key lime refreshing acidity. The lively fresh fruit flavors are complemented by the rich texture of the acacia oak on the finish.

Serve with seared scallops sautéed in citrus butter and tarragon, sushi, or as an aperitif with warm toasts and goat cheese.

The winery price is $14.00. Our regular price is $12.99, and our Bottle Club® price is only $10.99!

Casamigos Reposado and Anejo Tequila. We already carry the Blanco, so adding these other expressions was an easy decision. For Casamigos, the idea was to make the best-tasting, smoothest tequila whose taste didn’t have to be covered up with salt or lime. So they did.

The agave piñas are roasted in traditional brick ovens for 72 hours, while most others steam theirs for 7 hours. The unique flavor is a result of an 80 hour fermentation process, compared to the average 48.

The Blanco rests for 2 months and is crisp and clean with hints of citrus, vanilla and sweet agave, with a long smooth finish. The Reposado, aged for 7 months, is soft, slightly oaky with hints of caramel and cocoa. It has a silky texture with a medium to long smooth finish. The Añejo is aged for 14 months and has a beautifully pure and refined complex aroma, with soft caramel and vanilla notes. It’s the perfect balance of sweetness from the blue weber agaves, layered with subtle hints of spice and barrel oak, with a lingering smooth finish.

2013 Ghost Block Cabernet Sauvignon Estate. 91 points from Wine Advocate: "From proprietor Andy Hoxsey, the 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate displays classic pure cassis and an opaque purple color, in a reserved but exuberant, concentrated, full-bodied style with low acidity and ripe, well-integrated, lush tannins. Drink it over the next 12-15 years."

The winery notes: Intense, overt aromas of blackberry and raspberry; hints of tobacco and spices tempting you towards your first sip. The wine is classic Napa Cabernet on the palate with enticing flavors of mature plum, black cherry, and dark chocolate; lengthened by the integrated background of cedar, nutmeg and vanilla.

Limited availability. $63.99 in the Bottle Club®.
