Weekend Grab Bag

We hope you'll all take advantage of the weekend to get outside. Congratulations to our graduates at Rider (today) and Rutgers (Sunday), as they are among the first Commencement ceremonies in the area. We hope that you'll come back to visit us.

Speaking of visits, many college students find great part-time employment at our stores. Click here for more information about our opportunities. There is also a link to our job application on that page.

In-Store Events

Yesterday's blog post detailed our upcoming events. Click here for that post.

New Products

Sand Dollar Chardonnay. This is always a summer go-to white wine. Light golden yellow color. Mild aromas and flavors of apple yogurt and ground nuts with a silky, crisp, dry-yet-fruity medium body and a warming, breezy finish with accents of sliced pineapple and mandarin orange with leafy tannins and light oak. A lively chardonnay that will cover a lot of bases. Only $10.96 in the Bottle Club®.

Domaine Bastide Blanche Bandol Rose 2015. Because it still is rose season. The hugely popular Bandol rosé from Bastide Blanche has returned! The 201 is every bit as tasty as previous bottlings, with loads of spicy, strawberry and herb aromas and flavors that pair magically with summer menus. A blend of Mourvedre, Grenache and Cinsault.

Southern Tier Choklat Oranj. Choklat Oranj is the fifth beer currently in our highly
regarded Blackwater series. Warlock, Creme Brulee, Mokah and Choklat have RateBeer scores of 97, 98, 99 and 100, respectively. Choklat Oranj is a stout brewed with chocolate and orange peels, opaque black in color, 10.0% abv, and a delicious dessert beer. Perfect alone, or enjoyed as a float. Scoop organic vanilla bean ice cream into a snifter or pint glass and top with Choklat Oranj. It’s impossible to be disappointed. Limited availability.

Pair with roasted turkey, shortbread cookies and bread pudding. Enjoy alone, or as a float with a scoop of organic vanilla bean ice cream.

I. W. Harper Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Back after an absence of twenty years! Beginning with a subtle nose, I.W. HARPER Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey leaves traces of caramel and vanilla on entry before melting into velvety bursts of wood and spice. The finish is sweet and pleasant with subtle fruit notes. 41% ABV.

Ripped from the Headlines
