Cheers to Mom

As we celebrate Mother's Day on Sunday, many brunches or dinners will include some kind of adult beverage. From the simple to the elegant, we'll review a few options for you here.

Mimosa

Ingredients
Sparkling Wine, Cava, Cremant, Prosecco or Champagne (1 750ML bottle)
Orange Juice (1 carton)
Triple Sec (optional)

Fill half of a champagne flute with chilled sparkling wine (about an ounce) and top off with chilled orange juice (again about 2 ounces), gently stir. If you'd like to add triple sec, just a splash to taste works out fine. For added flare, slice up a strawberry to decorate the rim of each flute. Enjoy!

The latest trend in serving sparkling wine is the move from the flute to a standard white wine glass. Whichever you prefer, just keep the ratio intact.

Your options are wide-open with the sparkling wine. Your budget may prefer one over the other, and our helpful Joe Canal's staff will help you find the right product for your Mother's Day celebration.
